Last updated: 26 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of stackspire.co.nz (the “Site”) operated by Stackspire (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Our services
Stackspire is a New Zealand web studio that designs and builds bespoke websites and related digital products. The Site provides information about our work and a way to get in touch. Any specific project we undertake for you will be governed by a separate written proposal or agreement, which takes precedence over these Terms in the event of any conflict.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:
- use the Site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its underlying systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site; or
- submit false, misleading, or unlawful information through our contact form.
3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, design, graphics, logos, and code — is owned by or licensed to Stackspire and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Site without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
4. Enquiries and proposals
Information on the Site, including any indicative pricing, is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute a binding offer. A binding engagement is formed only once we have provided a written proposal and you have accepted it.
5. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites, and accessing them is at your own risk.
6. Disclaimer
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stackspire will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
